A woman was left shocked by the state of a central London hotel after discovering ‘luminous’ pee and mysterious stains in her room.
A Twitch streamer known as Knightenator, 28, branded the £146-a-night hotel a ‘catfish’ because it looked ‘much nice in photographs.
In a video shared to her platform, she revealed bedding and pillows covered with questionable brown stains, as well as an ‘airlock’ style toilet which meant the hotel room was only accessible via the loo.
She also complained of ‘toxic’-coloured urine that eerily appeared in the toilet bowl while her and her friend were out.
‘My friend and I couldn’t believe it when we walked in, we genuinely laughed for a solid 20 minutes at all the odd stains, broken appliances hanging off the walls and most of all the bathroom situation’, she said.
‘The airlock style entrance to the room was the weirdest part to the room. You open the hotel room door to be greeted by a toilet with a shower above.
‘There was no safe space to place the toilet roll either because when you put the shower on, everything in the bathroom gets soaked because it’s so small’.

In a video documenting her experience, she revealed the bedding contained questionable brown stains
Adding to her frustration was the constantly wet bathroom’s proximity to the beds, which were just a ‘step’ away, she said.
The influencer, from London, booked the £146-a-night hotel with a friend in July 2024 so they could attend her gaming meet-up in her local area.
‘I game on Twitch for a living’ she explained. ‘I organise a community meetup for my viewers to spend time together in person.
‘This hotel stood out as a reasonably priced one for London at least and didn’t look too bad so I booked it to stay in with my friend who was also attending my meetup’.
The choice would be a poor one as the lodge turned out to be the ‘hotel from hell’.
The guest documented her stay with a series of video clips, which she recorded as she moved around the modest room.
It showed decaying window sills, an unsightly view and bedding with unexplainable brown spots that she repeatedly said were ‘so bad’.
She also said the room was ‘roasting hot’ as there was no air conditioning, neither was there a guest lift to access her seventh-floor hotel room.

The room featured an unsightly view and was situated on the seventh floor – without access to a lift
Still, that wasn’t the worst of it – the gamer and her pal were in for the shock of their lives when they returned from an outing.
‘When we returned many hours later, we were greeted with the horrendous bathroom with the toilet seat up and luminous yellow wee in the toilet’ said Knightenator.
‘We both assumed the other person had covertly urinated before leaving. Turns out, neither of us had!
‘While we were out, someone had come into the room, had a wee and left.
‘The enigma still remains to this day, we have no idea who entered the room and what on earth they had been drinking to turn their wee such a toxic colour but hey, it added to the theatrics of the hotel from hell’.
Knightenator decided to find the funny side to the situation and, instead of complaining to the management, she settled for making a video about the bizarre room.
She said she hopes she never stays in a room like it ever again – and has been banned from picking future hotels by her friend.
But she said it was not entirely her fault because the hotel was a ‘catfish’ and looked nice in photographs.
