Many A-list celebrities have lost their stunning multi-million dollar mansions in Los Angeles due to the Pacific Palisades and Hollywood Hills fires.

The homes of Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, Paris Hilton, Candy Spelling, Heidi Montag, John Goodman and Miles Teller are destroyed.

But several stars have been able to keep their properties safe out of sheer chance and the assistance of brave firefighters.

One of the luckiest Hollywood stars is Kate Hudson who has two homes in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood.

The two mega properties are side-by-side and are lavish with two stories, generous balconies, lush lawns and swimming pools.

Other stars who have seen their homes saved include Tom Hanks, Rebel Wilson, Tom Brady, Chris Pratt, Dan Aykroyd, Steven Spielberg and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

DailyMail.com has obtained photos of the homes that are still preserved.

    KATE HUDSON

Kate Hudson’s two homes in Los Angeles are fine. They both miraculously survived the apocalyptic fires that have ravaged Los Angeles.

One of them is the childhood home she grew up in. She bought it back in 2003 for $5.5M.

Then in 2011 the Almost Famous actress snapped up the property next door for $5.3M.

She shares the homes with her fiance Danny Fujikawa and her three children:  son Ryder Robinson with ex Chris Robinson, and son Bingham Hawn Bellamy with ex Matt Ballamy as well as daughter, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, with Danny.

    JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her husband, Brian Hallisay, still have a home.

Their all white Cape Cod style dwelling was still standing after the fires swept through their neighborhood in the Pacific Palisades.

They purchased the home for $6M in 2020.

The gated house is roomy with high ceilings and hardwood floors with a large chef’s kitchen which fits a breakfast table and chairs.

In the backyard is a lush lawn next to a rectangular swimming pool with a built-in hot tub.

    CHRIS PRATT

Chris Pratt and his wife Katharine Schwarzenegger had prayed for their house to be spared, and it looks like it worked.

Their two level beige Mediterranean style home in the Pacific Palisades was seen still standing on Thursday.

The home is reportedly worth $15.6M.

Pratt took to social media with an emotional plea, urging the public to pray for the residents, first responders, and everyone affected by the devastating Southern California wildfires.

    TOM HANKS

Hollywood heavyweight Tom Hanks must be thanking his guardian angel.

The Castaway actor’s very large white modern mansion located on a cliff in the Pacific Palisades did not burn down.

The home above it did, however as it was seen ravage by the wildfire.

Hanks’ enormous property looked fine with barely a mark on it. There was not even debris on his roof or wide green lawn.

The Oscar-winning Forrest Gump actor lives in the home with his longtime wife Rita Wilson.

Hanks’ last film was Here with Robin Wright, whom he also worked with decades ago on Forrest Gump.

    STEVEN SPIELBERG

Famed director Steven Spielberg can thank his lucky stars as his Pacific Palisades home is still fine as it looked burn-free on Thursday.

The director of Jaws and Schindler’s List has an enormous Mediterranean style villa that is still around.

The eye-popping property is two levels and supersized with a dozen of everything; it actually looks like four houses sewn together.

There is also a lap pool, a lounge outdoor area, a detached garage and plenty of lawn to play soccer on.

    REBEL WILSON

Rebel Wilson’s Hollywood Hills house is still intact.

The modern-looking two level home with a generous deck in front and a swimming pool in the back was in good condition on Thursday.

All the damage that could be seen was slight foliage from the Santa Ana windstorm in her swimming pool.

There was also a car in the driveway, indicating that someone could have been inside the residence.

The day before she hinted that her home was in jeopardy as she said ‘Ornela’ saved their cat.

She shares the home with her new wife Ramona.

      JAMIE LEE CURTIS

She at first said that her Pacific Palisades house could have burned down then later said it was saved somehow.

Jamie Lee Curtis shared the good news with fans on Instagram then later talked about how fortunate she was when on a late night talk show.

She also pledged $1 million from our Family Foundation to start a fund of support ‘for our great city and state and the great people who live and love there. I’m in communication with Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass and Senator Schiff as to where those funds need to be directed for the most impact,’ she said on Thursday.

    BEN AFFLECK

    Ben Affleck got off easy.

When he came back to his newly purchased $20 million property in the Pacific Palisades on Wednesday, he saw it was still standing.

The Oscar winning actor and director drove up in his black SUV to the gate to check himself in.

In photos obtained by DailyMail.com, the ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez looked relieved to see the property just fine.

He recently moved into the charming dwelling after moving out of the $61M mansion he used to shared with the Atlas actress in Bel-Air.

    TOM BRADY

Tom Brady recently finished building his Los Angeles mansion, which is situated in the Brentwood neighborhood of the city.

The 47-year-old retired quarterback — whose ex-wife Gisele Bundchen, 44, is expecting a child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente — began constructing the 14,000 square foot home in 2020.

In July, the U.S. Sun reported that Brady had turf installed on the property, including in the backyard and on the second level’s outdoor space.

Tom began erecting the luxe abode after demolishing the original mansion that was set on the cushy estate.

It boasts an in-ground pool, and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout its two stories.

On Thursday the home looked unaffected by the fires.

    BILL HADER

Bill Hader‘s home miraculously survived the fires while his neighbors’ houses were burned down to the ground.

As the wildfires continues raging throughout southern California, the 46-year-old comedian’s home in the Pacific Palisades was left standing.

He was one of dozens of celebrities that have been forced to evacuate their luxury properties in coastal Los Angeles as four fast-moving wildfires threaten to destroy the city.

Almost every other home on the It Chapter Two star’s street was destroyed in the fires.

While the house across the street was engulfed in flames, Hader’s contemporary villa — which he purchased for $4.2 million in 2019 — appeared intact with a shiny Lexus still parked in the driveway.

Meanwhile, the Pacific Palisades fire is not just destroying mansions belonging to the rich and famous, it is also burning up their restaurants.

The sprawling mansion with a view of the Pacific Ocean was intact after a fire storm took over the enclave.

The stunning house has seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms with over 7,900 square feet of space.

There is a three car garage and a small lawn in front with a gated courtyard entrance to the Mediterranean style home with a red tiled roof.
