    • Raygun could perform with music icon Boy George
    • Aussie breakdancer had dinner with him in Amsterdam
    • Became a global sensation after routine at Paris Olympics

Raygun’s time in the spotlight post the Paris Olympics is showing no signs of waning if one of her recent high profile dinner companions is any guide.

The infamous Australian breakdancer – whose real name is Rachael Gunn – dined with music icon Boy George at a restaurant in Amsterdam while on holidays.

A photo of Gunn sporting a new look, alongside her husband, George and a male companion was captioned ‘break the internet’ in a clear indication she is loving her 15 minutes of fame.

It comes after Raygun confirmed she was offered the chance to perform alongside Boy George after winning over British billionaire Sir Richard Branson with her Olympic Games performance.

The Sydney based university professor made the stunning revelation during her first TV interview this week following her disastrous Paris routine on Channel Ten‘s The Project.

‘The upside is you get random people contacting you that you never thought would ever notice you,’ Gunn said.

‘You know, and it’s not just, like, breakers that you’ve respected for a decade.

‘It’s someone like Sir Richard Branson calling you to say that he enjoyed your performance and he thought that it was ‘plucky’, ‘courageous’ and ‘fun’.

‘And he would love to do something with me and have me on some cruises with Boy George. Like, what is life? I don’t know.’

Gunn’s routine at the Paris Games saw her become an object of ridicule globally.

While the likes of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and fellow Olympian Ariarne Titmus supported her, the likes of singing sensation Adele and US TV star Jimmy Fallon openly mocked her.

In unforgettable scenes, the 37-year-old broke out some classic moves in Paris, notably incorporating the sprinkler, before mimicking a snake and kangaroo.

Unsurprisingly, Gunn scored zero from the judges and soon became a global laughing stock.

During the tell-all interview with Waleed Aly this week on The Project, Raygun said she knew that she was in for a turbulent time after receiving a concerning message from an Australia Olympic Committee official after her routine.

‘As soon as I finished, you know, my rounds, my media liaison from the AOC said, ‘Oh, there’s a bit of a storm brewing on social media. You might want to go off socials,” she said.

‘I was like, ‘OK.’ I didn’t understand the scale of it. I did preview some comments and I was like, ‘Oh, no.’

‘I was like, ‘Oh, goodness! What has happened?”

Raygun admitted that she has not watched her performance back, before addressing the ‘tough’ backlash.

‘I haven’t watched it back, no. That’s not unusual for me, though. I’m not great at watching back my battles,’ she said.

‘It’s still gonna take some time. I think I’ve seen little bits and pieces, but, yeah, I’ll watch it eventually.’
