My Chemical Romance are giving their seminal second record Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge a deluxe edition reissue featuring several previously unreleased live recordings. The reissue is set to arrive June 6, almost exactly 21 years after the original album was released on June 8, 2004.

The four bonus tracks on the collection all come from a session My Chemical Romance did for BBC Radio 1’s “The Lock Up” in 2005. Among the previously unreleased recordings are live versions of “I’m Not OK (I Promise),” “Helena,” and “The Ghost of You,” while also included is a performance “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison,” which was originally released as a B-side on a limited edition UK CD single of “I’m Not Okay.”

Along with the bonus tracks, the Three Cheers deluxe edition will feature a newly remixed and remastered version of the album, helmed by Grammy-winning producer Rich Costey. MCR also commissioned new artwork for the reissue, which will be available in several formats, including CD, digital, and various colored vinyl editions.

To accompany the announcement, My Chemical Romance have released the BBC sessions version of “I’m Not OK,” as well as a newly restored version of the song’s original music video.

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge marked My Chemical Romance’s major commercial breakthrough, with the album going three-times platinum and peaking at Number 28 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. “I’m Not OK” and “Helena” served as the LP’s lead singles, with both earning platinum certification. It’s remained one of the band’s most significant and revered records, placing at Number 10 on Rolling Stone’s List of the 40 Best Emo Albums of All Time.

While Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is getting the reissue treatment this year, it’s MCR’s other landmark album — 2006’s The Black Parade — that they’ll be celebrating on their upcoming summer tour. The band will perform the album in its entirety during the 10-date run, which kicks off July 11 in Seattle and wraps Sept. 13 in Tampa, Florida.
